I just came across a wonderful tool for checking to see how well your website is optimized for the search engines.
I suggest you try several of the tools and, if you’re familiar with SEO practices, take the SEO quiz to see how much you really know. (I only missed one.
)
Search engine optimization is so important for good listings — and you don’t have to pay beaucoup bucks to an SEO firm to create an optimized website. There are numerous steps you can take yourself that will benefit your position in the rankings.
Here’s the URL: http://www.webconfs.com/.
One caution – if you try any of the optimization tools, be sure to scroll down and read the instructions. They’re simple, but you do need to follow the steps they present.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think of these SEO tools.
You may have heard that PLR (Private Label Rights) is the way to go to create content for your website, blog, articles, etc.
And it is.
Except that if you use the PLR content ’as is,’ you may be setting yourself up for duplicate content penalties from the search engines. Continue Reading »
Are you tired of the bloated promises that arrive in your email about how you’re going to make $$$ if you buy this product or that product? And when you investigate, you find out that the (overhyped) money-making product is ONLY going to cost you $297! (Who’s the one making money?)
If so, you may be interested in the Product Blueprint.
Yes, it’s another product that tells you how to make money online, but what makes this product different from all the rest is that it’s only $7.95! (Yes, you read that right.)
Isn’t it worth a few minutes of your time to at least check it out?
I just came across an excellent series of articles on optimizing your website called “Ten Steps To A Well Optimized Website.”
The author is Dave Davies, the owner of Beanstalk Search Engine Positioning.
The first article in the series is titled Keyword Selection, and it can be found here.
If you are even the slightest bit interested in optimizing your website for the search engines, I urge you to read these articles.
BTW, I don’t get a thing for this promotion other than the reward of helping online business owners find success on the internet.
For more information on website optimization, you might want to read my post about the Search Engine Optimization Tool.
Are you a rebel? A non-conformist? Are you open to and like to try new ideas?
Or do you follow the pack and base your actions on what everyone else is doing?
If you identify yourself with the former, then you’ll LOVE the principles behind the teaching in Alicia Dawes Ebook, Desperate Buyers Only.
Alicia is definitely a rebel. But it’s because what she has tried … WORKS! Continue Reading »
I just read this report by Jason James and I was extremely impressed with the contents. It’s a VERY good report that could easily have been sold on its own.
It covers 19 “Untold Marketing Secrets” that will help you look at things just a little ‘differently’ that you ever have before. Some of the ideas you’ve probably heard before, but I feel positive there will be others that will be brand new. (They were for me … and I’ve been an online business owner for nearly 10 years.)
Jason also provides some valuable resources in the report in the form of links, websites, and software.
I urge you to get your copy of the FREE “Untold Marketing Secrets” report. I feel confident you’re going to benefit from the information.
Lately I’ve been visiting some “newbie” forums and a question I see again and again is “How do I get more traffic to my website?”
Of course, this is a concern of nearly all website owners, but I think it’s especially relevant for newbies because, well, they’re newbies. This is their first attempt to build an online business and they’re trying to ‘learn the ropes’ so they can make some money.
What a lot of newbies don’t realize is that simply getting a lot of visitors to their website does not necessarily translate into sales. In fact, many postings indicate exactly this. For example, one person wrote, “People are clicking on my sites, but no one ever purchases.”
It’s not brain surgery, folks. If you want to make sales, you have to attract people to your website who are ready to buy. In other words, you have to target your traffic.
There are numerous ways to do this and forum posters often mention many of them. But for a newbie, I feel some of this information is ‘overload.’ That’s why I’m offering an Ebook in which everything is laid out, step-by-step, on how to get targeted traffic to your website and start making money.
The Ebook is called “Red Hot Traffic in 10 Days” and it’s written especially for new
website owners (but others who are experiencing a traffic draught will benefit from its contents as well).
You will especially like the fact that you can become an affiliate and make 100% commission! That’s right. Make one sale and you will immediately recoup your investment! Such a deal!
Check it out! I believe you’ll see results almost immediately if you follow the steps outlined in the Ebook.
Ya’ know, I’m an online business owner so I’m all for internet marketing. And I understand the value of sending out a notice to one’s list to let them know about special deals, to announce new products, to promote an affiliate product, etc., etc.
But what I can’t stand is when an internet marketer sends me umpteen emails (all within a matter of days) promoting a particular product or service.
This recently happened with Joe Vitale’s new “Hypnotic Marketing” coaching program. Not only did I receive numerous emails (from him as well as others) that talked about the program, but I also received several more telling me that I needed to “act fast” because the deadline was approaching.
And then, once the deadline had passed, I received MORE emails telling me how “lucky” I was because the deadline had been extended and X number of openings remained. And (oh boy!) if I acted quickly, I could sign up!
And it didn’t stop there. This morning I received yet another email telling me that I had only 2 hours left to sign up.
Good grief!
Maybe this is part of Joe’s ‘hypnotic’ teaching, but I’ll say this much. These type of tactics certainly don’t hypnotize me into action.
